Etheric talismans are potent talismans, very energy-consuming for the magician to prepare, but done correctly they have a great deal of power and are very useful. Ordinary talismans are made from parchment, metal, clay, stones and shells. Etheric talismans are made from astral energy, the magician can place them anywhere and on anyone. For example you might which to persuade someone to do something, an etheric talisman can be crested in my magic space and placed over the person you wish to control Once the etheric talisman is created (using Runes) it is empowered while the magician, yours truly, is in a trance state.

When the etheric talisman has completed its work it returns to me and I erase it.
